Spotted an anomaly during my recent visit to the Visitor Center at Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area. Library boxes (like the one pictured below) were moved along the coast, from lighthouse to lighthouse, by the U.S. Lighthouse Service during the late 1800s and early 1900s. This one is a pretty good representation:

Spotted recently in SE Portland. Don’t you just want to meet this cat? Some neighborhood lady is missing her garden gloves, and some little boy is very sad because he can’t find his Batman cape.
