It actually does look like an emotional support carrot. I’m not sure I’d be comfortable eating it, especially when it’s a hugger!

It was delicious! The leaves were romaine lettuce, also good. Things grow so easy here, I planted the seeds and basically ignore them (well, at least until it heats up). 😎
