Thought I’d share a few photos of my temporary little home. It has all the basic necessities of life (like a fridge, hammock, and wifi), is only a five minute walk to the beach, and there is a papaya tree outside my front door with fruit that will soon be ready to harvest. What more could a girl need? Living the simple life or as they say down here, pure vida!
Pura vida indeed! That’s what our guide kept saying, even after we almost died going over a cliff in Punta Arenas. 🙂 I like your new digs.

Oh my, I remember that story, now! When I arrived I was impressed because the main road from the ferry to Cobano was just paved and is smooth and lovely. But that didn’t last long. All the other roads out here on the Nicoya Peninsula are curvy and narrow dirt trails full of rocks and potholes. A 20km journey takes 45 minutes. I suppose it gives me time to enjoy the scenery. 🙂
